Charass is the name for the cannabis plant’s black resin. To prepare it, the flower buds of the plant are rubbed in the palm of the hand for long periods of time. Marijuana is made using the plant’s leaves and stems. Charas is a hashish traditionally produced in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, and India. Charass and Hashish are one of the most abused drug in Pakistan.

Withdrawal therapy

Several drug classes, such as depressants, stimulants, and opioids, have distinct withdrawal symptoms and treatment strategies. Substituting alternative drugs like methadone, buprenorphine, or buprenorphine plus naloxone for the addictive one is an option during detox.

For patients, the withdrawal era is the most important phase. Expert therapists and psychologists at HDRC stay with each patient until he has made a full recovery. Since the institution maintains high standards for its food and cleanliness, as well as creating an environment that is comfortingly familiar to patients, the rehabilitation center is a great place to recover in peace and quiet.
